The Year 3 and 4 classes joined forces this year for the Spring Production. This was a celebration of May traditions from Maypole dancing to square and Morris dancing. The children also performed songs and poetry at a split production between 3LJ, 3W, 4O and in the other group 3FJ, 4BC, 4S.

The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about dance styles from the past and did an amazing job of it! The parents and staff were immensely proud of their efforts.

Year 4 have just enjoyed an amazing day at Dover Castle. Although the weather could have been better it didn't stop us from having an enjoyable day. We all had a great time exploring at first hand the Castle and the different parts that we have been learning about last term and at the start of Term 6.

In Guided Reading we are about to start the first story of the Narnia Chronicles by CS Lewis called "The Magician's Nephew"

Year 4 have just enjoyed a sunny, summery day in Forest School. The children were busy pond dipping and identifying the different inhabitants including newts, growing tadpoles and back swimmers. They made leaf print flags and castles during their sessions. Oh yes and they toasted marshmallows too!
